In addition, you use underscores because trying to send a file over the internet with a literal space in it results in a %20, or just fails on attempt to transfer. Using underscores gives a clean visual cue as to what’s a descriptor and what’s a date. The underscore (this character: _) is necessary because the dates uses dashes already.
